Memorial Day Weekend Live Music Cedar Key, FL promises to be hotter than ever. Well, inside Black Dog Bar & Tables, anyway! We’re welcoming back Jason Taylor and this time, he’s bringing reinforcement – his sidekick Chris. Together, they make up a dynamic duo called Joystick.
Joystick is a Jacksonville-based group that plays a wide range of classic hits from the 60’s to the present. The members, Chris and Jason, have played together since the mid-90’s, and bring a sense of humor and fun to the stage. Joystick focuses on playing smaller venues where they can actively interact with the crowd, and with a large song list, adjust their sets to the interests of the crowd.
Jason just happens to be the son of a ’60′s era band member of “The Royal Guardsman” whose hit “Snoopy vs. The Red Baron” is a beloved favorite of several generations. You never know, but maybe dad will stop in again. It would be our pleasure to buy him a beer.
Saturday evening 8:00 p.m.
So make your plans, pack your bags, and join us at Cedar Key’s smart bar.
- April 13, 2013 to April 14, 2013
Cedar Key’s 49th annual fine arts festival is hosted by the Cedar Key Arts Center. Over 120 fine artists and craftsmen will showcase their brilliant works of art on Historic 2nd Street. Artists compete for over $10,000 in prize money and purchase awards during this juried event. Last year over 20,000 people visited Cedar Key to enjoy this fine art festival and purchase a piece from the collection. Local non-profit businesses and churches sell a variety of food and desserts in City Park. Cedar Key is famous for their steamed clams and some of the freshest seafood you can find. Music, sidewalk chalk, and face painting will also be happening in the park all weekend. As you cross Cedar Key’s bridges you will feel as if you are stepping back in time with it’s old Florida charm. Don’t forget to check out the million dollar sunsets! LIVE COMEDY March 30th!
Join us once again as ROADKILLSTV.COM brings the LA COMEDY INVASION back to Black Dog Bar & Tables!
 Pretty AND Smart!
When Laura’s not killing patients–with laughter, she is killing it on stage as a stand-up comedian and inspirational speaker. Dr. Laura Hayden is a practicing physical therapist, touring comedian and speaker. Laura’s stand-up career started at the front of the classroom while she earned her Masters in Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s College. Her ability to highlight the humorous side of medicine led her classmates to nominate her to give their graduation commencement speech. To this day the faculty at Mount Saint Mary’s College still talk about that “infamous” commencement speech. Laura credits this as her first stand up performance. You can read all about her www.laurahayden.com. Even better, consider joing over 5,000 people who “follow” Laura’s world-wide comedic tour de’ force on facebook (it’s kind of like stalking but it’s legal): Laura Hayden’s fb. Laura was our *first* comedian, and for that, she will always hold a special place in our heart!
Matt Baca has established himself as a premiere stand-up comedian globally, performing in comedy clubs, corporations, and universities all over the world. Matt draws from his experience in education, the business world and travel to provide high-energy and character-driven observations. His comedy ranges from the intellectual to the slapstick, guaranteeing that there will be a topic for everyone to enjoy!

Remember – there is only one waterfront Craft Beer, Fine Wine & Cigar Bar in North Central Florida. Why don’t you check us out?
As Robert D. from Winter Haven, Fl said on Tripadvisor: “What a bar should be! What a unique and interesting find! My wife and I spent a few hours sampling a few of the 150+ beer selections and talking while sitting in the leather sofa . However we could have opted to sit in one of the antique barber chairs up front! Lacey the bartender treated us like family and was a perfect host. The Black Dog will be added to my list of favorite bars and I have been to many around the world. Kudos to owner and staff for a truly unique establishment!”
